The Costalab Sun Drive is a pedal built around the most classic Big Muff. Its circuit is based on the four canonical stages of gain, two of which host silicon clipping circuits with a very vintage sound.

The sound it produces is massive, full of harmonics and medium frequencies that easily pierce the mix. Moreover it is able to produce low frequencies which are very powerful but at the same time precise and always in focus. The result is an aggressive and rich sound, but stable and controllable. Despite the considerable levels of gain that can be achieved, the pedal maintains excellent silence thanks to the many adjustments made to the circuit and the careful selection of the components used.
