CostaLab | Natural Drive

The Costalab Natural Drive is a pedal built on two fundamental cornerstones: dynamics and expressiveness. Its circuit is based on the most classic distortion network with symmetrical clipping. The presence of germanium diodes gives a very round vintage tone full of harmonics.

The timbre of the guitar is not modified in any way, even with the sustain regulated to the maximum, using the volume control of the instrument or simply playing with very light dynamics, it is possible to return to the un-distorted sound, vice versa, using it with an energetic playing, the Natural Drive responds by producing a rich and incisive distorted sound.

The resulting sensation is the same as that obtained by playing with the old single-channel tube amplifiers, pulled at maximum volume. Once the right dynamic feeling is reached, the guitarist’s expressiveness is absolutely emphasized.
